aBe sure to copy any personal appointments that affect the rest of the family
onto the family calendar.
aKeep both personal and family calendars on your Hotsync program to coordinate both.
aEncourage all family members to enter their own events onto the family calendar. Let children (especially
teenagers) know that if an event isn't on the calendar, they may not get transportation!
aColour-code family members! Each person writes their activities in their own colour. This enables
you to see at a glance who needs to be where, when.
aKeep pens, coloured pencils or markers, stapler, note paper near the calendar.
aAdd a binder, desk top file or wall pockets to hold family papers, invitations, schedules.
aIf you use an electronic organizer learn and use the time-saving features. There are many
shortcuts and tricks to make them faster and easier to use.
aSchedule some family activities. Remember to do things together as well as separately.
And don't forgot some fun time for the adults!
Enjoy your organized family! |
